What is the ideal usage frequency for the mask ?
Plan on wearing it 3–5 times a week, with each session running either 3 or 6 minutes. Three minutes of express use is the least you need to see great results, and you can stretch a session to 6 minutes whenever your complexion could use a little more help! The wavelengths in our mask are safe and generate no heat, so daily use is fine.

Why can I hardly see anything, or nothing at all, on Setting 2 of the LumaLux LED Mask?
That setting runs IR (infrared) light, and the human eye can't see it. A faint red glow is there only to show you the mask is on.

What is the charging time for the LumaLux Control Box?
Expect about 5 hours for a full charge of the LumaLux Control Box.

How are the 800 LEDs split up on Lumalux Face and Face+?
Here is the breakdown of the 800 LEDs: 180 are Infrared (IR), 20 are Deep Infrared (NIR), and the remaining groups of 200 are Red, Blue and Green, one group per color.

What number of LEDs make up every bulb on Lumalux Face and Face+?
A single bulb holds 4 LEDs.
Can I pair serums with my LumaLux device?
Start with a freshly cleansed face when using the device. Smoothing on a serum or moisturizer once you finish seals in moisture and supports healthier skin, which adds to the results.

For the LumaLux Dome, we suggest 3–4 sessions weekly, each lasting somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes.

What explains certain bulbs looking dead?

No need to worry, since nothing is actually damaged! Human eyes can't pick up the infrared (IR) lights, which are invisible, so they will not appear lit in Mode 1. To confirm they are functioning, move to Mode 2 and you will see them glow in blue.

Is exfoliating ahead of a Reva session okay?

Our gel has proven very good at triggering the electrical currents, yet any gel or serum with a water base will do. Nourishing ingredients get pushed into the skin by REP mode for the best absorption

Which active skincare ingredients shouldn't be mixed with Reva?

Products that can make skin more sensitive, for example acids like AHA, BHA or glycolic acid, as well as vitamin C and vitamin A derivatives (retinol or tretinonin), belong on the days when you aren't using Reva. Heat comes from the RF Radio Frequency function once every probe touches your body fully, meaning the center piece and the four probes around it. Slimming essence and lotion applied as well can boost how well the treatment performs.

Can all three functions run together?

Of course! Three functions come with the device, and you can run them one by one or mix them for a skincare session built around you. Tap the function buttons, and matching indicator lights switch on.

Is use safe if I have metal implants in my body?

Avoid this device when you have pacemakers or other electrical devices, dental plates, heart valves, artificial metal hip joints, or metal implants, since the radio frequency it emits could disrupt them.

What does a red flashing power light mean?

A skin test comes first, every time: hold the skin tone sensor near your skin before treating. Doing so supports the best safety and performance.

Nothing happens once the device touches my skin. What now?

The skin tone sensor isn't making tight enough contact. When the device stays inactive against skin, press the treatment window firmly onto it and try again.

Can I go out in strong sun after an IPL session?

Stay out of direct sun for roughly five days after IPL. That guards against sunburn and sun damage, because IPL leaves skin more sensitive while it heals. Remember broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF whenever you're outside, to protect skin from possible pigmentation problems or irritation.

Are heat and discomfort during use normal?

Your skin may be getting too strong a setting. Press the power button to step the level down for added comfort. Also make sure the area has no hair left before treating, by shaving it and cleaning it well.

Can IPL be used on the face safely?

Picking the right setting for your skin type is essential for safe, effective facial treatment.
